The apps

The Danlite OBD and Torque read data from a vehicle’s OBD2 port through a compatible adapter. They are information tools and do not replace a qualified mechanic. Do not use them while driving. Compatibility depends on your vehicle, adapter and phone, so ask us before you buy.

Price and licence

The Danlite OBD costs ₹129, paid once, inclusive of applicable taxes. After payment you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for life, including after you uninstall and reinstall it. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or share the app. Updates, language support and Google Play availability may change; “coming soon” is not a promise of a date.

Your account

You must give correct details and keep your login private. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be 18 or older, or use the app with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.

Torque

Torque is made by a different company and is subject to that company’s own terms. Danlite is not connected with or endorsed by the Torque developer, and we are not responsible for the Torque app.

Using this website

Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it or use it for anything unlawful. Logos and content belong to Danlite or their owners and may not be copied without permission.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, or for damage to a vehicle or phone caused by misuse. See also the Disclaimer. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Refunds, privacy and complaints

See the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy and Grievance Redressal.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app or website after a change means you accept the update.
